Vintage Secretary Desk (restoration)

This secretary desk was carefully restored to reveal its natural beauty. First, the old dark stain was completely stripped away, taking the piece down to its bare wood. Every surface was then meticulously sanded by hand to smooth imperfections and prepare the grain for a new finish. A lighter stain was applied, enhancing the wood's character and bringing out a warm, refreshed look that brightened the desk while preserving its timeless charm.
